This is a book that I am reading right now, so I won’t be able to give you any spoilers!!!
This is a beautifully emotional story about a girl named Anna whose dad is a famous author. They will take all of the family’s passports, so they all need to go away. Off they went to Switzerland and then France. The family found it hard to keep them going. Will they survive and be able to keep everybody alive through the war?
If you are intrigued by this book, then please do read the next books by Judith Kerr. Other books that she has written include:

I recommend this book for 7-any age as it is a wonderful book for the family to read together.
When I looked at the internet for what age they think the recommended age is for this book, they said 8, but (as I am a kid myself) I think I can say that it should be 7.
It is a book that speaks quite a bit about Hitler in a bad way, so if you feel fragile when people talk bout him, then it may not be the best book for you.
