Queenie is a book that is set when Queen Elizabeth 2 became queen. It is about a young girl who has a leg disorder and has to go to hospital.
Her nan too is poorly and she is getting extremely upset about her. Will she survive? After being in hospital for ages, what will happen to poor little granddaughter Elsie?
I loved this book because it is full of emotions and suspense. I think that Jacqueline Wilson shows how the character is feeling so well, but I do think that it is a book that stays too much in the same place. The scene doesn’t move much. I think that this book is much like one of JW’s other books Katy.
