You may think of Sandi as a comedian, or you don’t even know her at all (I didn’t before I watched the great British Bake Off) but really, she’s a Danish Author (she is a comedian as well.)
Sandi’s books are one of a kind and you’d be able to tell when they were her’s. One of the most unique authors I would say. In her books, Sandi shows her happiness and all of her comedic skills.
But one book is specific defies this law. That one is A Slice of the moon. That is the one that I am reading at the moment. Now for the criteria:
- You will love her jokes
- Feel sad about how real life is.
- Cry your heart out
- Laugh your heart out
- Be the main character
Age- 5+

Sandi is also very well known for being gay and has been against sexism and homophobic people. An example of this is one of her books, Girls Are Best. Here is a list of her books:
- A Slice of the moon
- Hitler’s Canary
- Between the stops
- Girls Are Best
- The Little Vikings
- If I Didn’t Have Elbows
All of these books fit the age except If I didn’t have elbows, which are 2-7.
